Almost like the German Christmas markets… without the Kasewurst.
An expert advice – first have lunch and then explore the French villages. The restaurants just close at 2pm and walking around on am empty stomach is not fun 🙂
Riquewihr and Colmar are packed with tourists… Instead we spent most of our time in those smaller picturesque medieval villages around (Turckheim, Eguisheim, Kaysersberg, and Ribeauvillé).
